Table of Contents
In this community, Wealthy Affiliate has a way to earn money.
It won’t help you make a full time income, not even a part time income.
I truly believe Wealthy Affiliate implemented this opportunity within the community because, so many aspiring affiliate marketers have joined the community and can’t afford the monthly membership.
So, just Imagine being able to Start an affiliate mom blog – while receiving training, hosting, and support.
Within a few scrolls, you’ll learn the little known ways that you can make some extra money while you work on your affiliate blog.
I’ve created this post because, I’ve seen a lot of moms join, WA and end up loving the place, but, money tends to be an issue.
In fact, Wealthy Affiliate is where I learned to become an affiliate marketer.
Therefore, from time to time, you will find me sharing them with you.
How To Make Money With Wealthy Affiliates Community?
There are several ways to make money within the Wealthy Affiliate community.
Most new members do not have a great understanding of what Wealthy Affiliate has to offer you – and that’s okay.
In fact, it took me many years of experiencing other affiliate training programs, to realize how beneficial this community really is. Yes, it does have some flaws but, overall I would say its still a good option.
It isn’t just a place that teaches you how to monetize a WordPress Blog with affiliate marketing techniques.
It’s a community that practices a helping model called “Paying it Forward.”
“Our job on earth isn’t to criticize, reject, or judge. Our purpose is to offer a helping hand, compassion, and mercy. We are to do unto others as we hope they would do unto us.”
With that in mind, Wealthy Affiliate has implemented a system that helps members, learn, support each other, teach other, and earn.
What that means, if you have no idea where to start, what to do, you’re scared of even getting started, skeptical, or whatever the reason might be. This community may be for you.
There are so many communities out there that promise to help you along the way but, very few really holdup to their word. It’s different with WA.
The community is built off of “paying it forward” meaning we help each other out.
In fact, there are so many benefits on this community that can help you along your journey, sometimes its tough to explain it. It’s one of those things, that you got to just see it for yourself.
1. You can earn Wealthy Affiliate credits in 3 ways
In fact, I’ve listed them below.
- Cash Credits
- Community Credits
- Transfer Credits
Pretty cool, huh!
WA Cash Credits
Cash credits serves several purposes.
You’ll have the option of a cash credits which carries a value of $0.50 – but, not all of that is pure cash.
Instead this is how it works. You offer two consecutive comments, and receive 1 cash credit and 1 community credit.
Once you have successfully reached 20 cash credits, you’ll be able to cash out with a $10.00 payout right to your PayPal account.
The payout is paid to you on the 1st of the month.
You can use your cash credits towards:
- Receiving comments for your website.
- Receiving constructive criticism to get website feedback.
- Or purchase a new website domain.
WA Affiliate Credits
On the other hand, there is also affiliate credits.
Affiliate credits will only be earned if you invite others to the community.
And if you refer others to the community, you first must earn at least 40 credits.
After that you’ll have to maintain at least 5% of your premium upgraded referrals but, I wouldn’t worry about the Affiliate credits unless you plan on promoting Wealthy Affiliate.
Once you achieve both requirements you can cash these credits out for real cash or you can utilize them on site comments, site feedback, or buying future domains.
Site Community Credits
Okay, so its not as simple, as it sounds.
Another way to start earning real money within Wealthy Affiliate is, you can provide comments to other community members websites.
For this to work, – you must – first give 50 comments to your fellow WA members.
Yes, I know it sounds like a lot?
But, remember this you paying it forward.
Not only that, surprisingly, you can a lot about your niche while providing helpful comments to others. It will also helps with page rank.
So, in the end it is a win-win for the both of you.
Here Are The WA Site Comment Rules:
The first 50 comments must be completed within 30 days.
During your 30 day commenting journey. You’ll need to maintain an 80% approval rating or higher.
What this means is that you need to have at least 80% of your website comments approved by the other website owners – remember the ones you left a comment on.
Usually, if you have left a thoughtful comment, your comment will be approved.
I’ve never experienced any of my comments being denied. So, I’m confident in you as well.
In addition to maintaining an 80% approval rate – you’ll also want to keep your skip rate (meaning your not interested in commenting on a particular website).
Therefore, your skip rate must be as low as 20%.
This is also easy to maintain, as long as you keep the thought of helping others out in your mind.
Above all, Wealthy Affiliate has been the only affiliate marketing community that I’ve ever experienced that is truly dedicated to helping their members succeed on a budget.
They are also the only true earn while you learn.
2. Become A Certified Commenter !
As easy and cool as becoming a certified site commenter sounds – it does take a bit of work.
But, if you’re serious enough it can be done!
After you have completed the all above steps:
Here’s a recap.
- Commenting on 50 other member websites first.
- Keeping your approval rating at 80% or higher.
- And maintaining your skip rate at 20% or lower.
It’s also important to know that the required 50 comments first resets every 30 days.
During this time you are pretending to be a real website visitor, who is interested in the current topic.
As a matter of fact, its similar to the Facebook groups that offer this same advantage.
The only difference here is that you are in a community where people will return the favor.
After Achieving 50 comments on other peoples website, you’ll then obtain Certified Commenter Status.
After becoming certify you can earn $0.50 value on approved comments.
Besides, website comments is a specular way to create engagement on other peoples blogs as well as your own.
This also increases your page authority within the Google Search engines.
Furthermore, I’ve seen many moms use site comments for a way to compensate their membership.
Of course adding content to your website, is your first priority.
It’s also where you want to invest most of your time.
But, sometimes, moms need a little financial backup – because, truth is building a website, and maintaining the kids – can take you a little longer than intended.
But, that’s okay, nobody understands our job but, us moms.
Either way, I enjoy using site comments, to help balance out my expenses and it helps me learn more from others because, the learning never stops.
Here’s What You Need To Do So That You Can Become A Successful Commenter
Most importantly, to earn revue with site comments is that, you’ll need to have a website which is hosted within the Wealthy Affiliate community.
In fact, I had to test this out myself when I decided to host my website elsewhere.
However, I really don’t recommend you hosting outside of the community, unless you know how to handle hosting or at least willing to learn.
The hosting itself will only cost you more money.
So, if you’re not sure you what to do affiliate marketing for the long haul, I would seriously think over where you want to start hosting your website.
Secondly, you’ll need to dedicate enough time while posting relevant and valuable comments on other peoples websites.
Let’s say that you set some time to the side and you offer 10 comments a day.
I usually, try to do this within an hour max.
It’s a lot easier to keep track of your time by setting a timer.
Last but not least, you’ll easily be able to obtain at least 50 comments within 5 days – which guarantees you keep your commenting status intact while continuing to earn money.
3. WA Community Credits
Community Credits are earned as paying it forward. It’s important to know that the community credits do not carry any cash value.
Instead you will receive credits only. Those credits can be used in receiving more:
- Comments for your website
- More website feedback
- Or you can use them on future domains.
4. Site Feedback
Many new members get site feedback and site comments all mixed up – but, no worries you will be on the right track and well prepared before you even start.
Instead of posting your website URL in the live chat or some random place in the community – we have a dedicated area that allows you to get constructive criticism to help you improve your website.
The community has many beginners that have never built a website before.
Therefore, WA has provided a very beneficial way for each newbie to improve their website so that you can start off on the right track.
Typically, during this time, a member will look over your website, to make sure everything is looking or working good.
If you are on the opposite providing a member site feedback.
Don’t be afraid to be honest and thorough here because, there’s always room for improvement.
So, usually what every website owner wants to know is:
- Does the website look good or decent enough to gain trust?
- How is the navigation? Did you have a hard time finding things?
- Is the content helpful or does it need to be improved?
Above all, the website owner may or may not take all of your suggestions into consideration so, do not be discouraged.
The longer you provide website feedback, it helps you learn how to structure your own blog to your likings without making the errors.
I also believe that it can help you learn how to create better content. I know that it helps me out a lot.
By participating in Site Feedback, you’ll earn Community Credits.
WA Transfer Credits
There’s even an option to send a fellow community members credits.
You can transfer credits to a member within the Wealthy Affiliate platform.
The transfer credits can be used in exchange for:
- Site Feeback
- Site Content
- Site Domains
- Membership Dues
- Or cashed out for money.
Site Transfer Credits
When Wealthy Affiliate was founded 18 years ago, the two college kids started it on a bootstrap budget.
Today, many new members that join Wealthy Affiliate as members are also on a budget.
It’s one of the many reasons why WA allows you to earn in different ways.
Above all, the founders of WA main goal is to ensure you that you can remain a member.
5. Create Training & Gain Financial Incentive
Now, this one even becomes a complete shocker to me.
Inside of Wealthy Affiliate, there are other members who create training tutorials or video trainings for free.
Before, anyone can create training, you must remain a member for at least three months.
Furthermore, the way that WA pays its members back for using their own time to create training for others- is provide them with an incentive.
The idea of allowing the community members to create training is to share your knowledge with other community members, because, remember we are in a pay it forward community.
While creating the training, you should do it with the intent of helping others. And, you will be compensated for all of your hard work.
Above all, when you create training you’ll be paid on the success of your tutorial.
As people comment, engage, like or views it.
Your training credit payment level will increase.
And here is how the credit levels look:
- Credit Level 1: 5 Credits earn you $5.00
- Credit Level 2: 10 Credits earn you $10.00
- Credit Level 3: Credits earn you $15.00
Here are the guidelines to become more successful with WA trainings and I have listed them below.
4 ways that your training can be a success is to follow the rules below:
- The # of views your training receives helps you increase your credit level.
- Is it receiving comments and feedback because, that will help you too.
- The # of likes and engagement that the training receives will help increase your levels.
- How Much people like the training – the more they like it – the more you can earn.
Don’t worry !
If you feel like you don’t have anything to teach others -or you’re just not ready. It’s okay, you won’t be the only one that won’t be participating.
There are many members that have never created a training, myself included.
Therefore, it’s not a requirement but, good information to know.
I’m sure many members were thinking that it was a waste of time but, apparently, our WA member Israel has figured it all out.
And he has proven us all wrong.
Take a look, he has earned at least $569.00 from providing training to the community.
6. In Addition To Earning Community Credits, There’s An Wealthy Affiliate Affiliate Programs
And, it doesn’t stop there, Wealthy Affiliate has more ways to earn credits.
If you wish to share this helpful community with others – they have two different affiliate programs.
Keep in mind this is also not a requirement – not all members promote Wealthy Affiliate. Others work on their own passions, hobbies, and ideas as their main website.
1. Wealthy Affiliate Affiliate Program
Since Wealthy Affiliate teaches others how to start an affiliate blog, and make money through affiliate marketing.
It only makes sense for them to have their own affiliate program.
As an affiliate promoting this opportunity, you can earn three different ways.
Earning As A Starter Member
Earning as a starter member can be a challenge because, you will have limited training but, if we’re thinking optimistic here – anything is possible.
So, you could earn $10.00 the first month, for starter referrals. Then $11.75 thereafter, or $117.50 for yearly referrals.
If you were to refer someone that upgraded to premium membership – you can earn $20.00 per month or $160.00 for yearly commissions.
And here’s what happens if you were to refer a member that upgraded to premium plus with a dedicated server – you could earn $30.00 monthly or $360 yearly per qualifying sale.
Earning As A Premium Member
If you refer someone who upgrades to premium – you can earn $20.00 for the first month, then $23.50 thereafter for premium member sales. Or $117.50 per qualifying yearly commission.
And if you were to refer a premium plus member, you could earn $40.00 for the first month then $46.50 thereafter. Or $160 for yearly commissions.
Here’s what happens if you were to refer someone who upgrades to Premium Plus with a dedicated server. You would earn $60.00 monthly or $720 yearly per qualifying sale.
As you can see below if you were to refer 5 people a day, and at least 5 of them upgrade to premium within that month – while maintaining at least 15 of the members you can earn at great income.
7. Jaaxy Affiliate Program
If you start an affiliate blog, you’re going to need a keyword tool.
There are not too many free forever keyword tools. Therefore, most bloggers use a paid service.
The good news is as a Wealthy Affiliate member, you’ll get access to a keyword tool that is included with your membership.
And its called Jaaxy.
You can earn money by sharing this keyword tool with others because, Jaaxy is also an affiliate program.
If someone outside of Wealthy Affiliate decides to purchase this tool, you can earn income when they sign up with your link.
There’s two levels that you can get paid on with Jaaxy.
- Jaaxy Pro or Jaaxy Enterprise.
These two affiliate programs alone can earn you anywhere from $20 to $40 monthly per qualifying sale.
And if you were to sale a yearly membership, you could earn $200 to $400 per qualifying yearly sale.
There’s No Stupid Question. Just Frequently Asked Questions About Making Money With Wealthy Affiliate
What Can Affiliate Credits Be Used For?
Using affiliate credits is easy.
You can use affiliate credits towards the purchase of new website domain name.
By the way, if you have enough WA credits and you use them to purchase your domain name, this can help save you money.
You can also request comments or feedback on any of your Wealthy Affiliate hosted websites.
Or your WA credits can be turned into cash.
What’s The Difference Between Site Comments and Site Feedback?
Site comments is where you are asking a Wealthy Affiliate community member to provide you with thoughtful comments on your website.
This is not the time, to analyze how the member can improve on their website. With SiteComments we are only trying to increase the engagement.
Instead you’ll need to utilize the Site Feedback section for that.
On the other hand, Site Feedback, is when you are requesting feedabck for your website.
You can request feedback on how to improve the look of your website, the navigation , the spelling or grammar to your website.
Its important to utilize this feature from the very beginning of your journey. It really helps you avoid many future errors.

Some people like Wealthy Affiliate while others prefer alternatives. I mean WA isn’t for everybody.
Unfortunately, the alternatives that I had for Wealthy Affiliate, were great. They were well known 6 and 7 figure earners that had individual courses in fact, I still own the courses today. I won’t say any names.
The problem is two of the courses have ceased, the course creators haven’t but the courses that they made don’t exist anymore.
In fact, both have moved on to high ticket courses and those courses can cost you well into the thousands.
Either way, this happens in the affiliate marketing sphere. Courses come and go. The point is I’m still looking for Wealthy Affiliate alternatives. please be patient.
