Thirdly, Wealthy Affiliate hosting, may not be the best out there but, it does offer things that other hosting companies do not.

Here’s the big debate, over blog commenting.
Some will say that receiving blog comments have no benefits to your SEO rankings. While others will say that receiving blog comments does help with SEO.
I believe that blog comments are about learning, building a relationship, and having fun with your readers.
For instance, I’ve learned many answers to my questions just by reading other people blog comments.
With that said, regardless of what study we go by, Google quality raters guidelines, mentions that the rater should review the commenting section of a website.

But, be careful there not all valuable.

PRO TIP: You certainly won’t get rich doing this but, All Wealthy Affiliate members, are eligible to give other members website comments.
If you complete 50 comments on other members site within a 30 day process, you’ll become a certified commenter.
Certified comments can earn credits and or cash to pay for their membership or domains. As you can see I’ve earned a total of $11.00 in this image.

Website Technical Support
Wealthy Affiliate website technical support is helpful for the most part.
This support is available to members who have a website hosted with Wealthy Affiliate.
Either way, it’s almost like I have a love hate relationship with tech support.
There’s been times when I have contacted WA tech support and got absolutely nowhere.
On a positive note, that caused me to go outside of the Wealthy Affiliate community and seek further knowledge, so that I can equip myself for future mishaps.
Then again, there’s times when Wealthy Affiliate web hosting support saved my life.
For instance, the time I deleted 200+ blog posts.
- Pictures
- videos
- 510 comments all gone with one click.
One silly mistake, and I lost all of my hard work.
Talk about my heart dropping to my toes.
I contacted Wealthy Affiliate site support and explained to them what happened.
After going back and forth, WA site support advised me to not worry.
And guess what? I didn’t!
While I cooked dinner, helped my kids with classwork, and ran errands.
Wealthy Affiliate site support was hard at work retrieving my website.
Once the entire site was recovered they sent me an email telling me to go and check the website to make sure everything was working correctly.
The bottom line is, no other hosting company will tell you to go on about your day, while they recover your website in the meantime.
Note: I haven’t accidentally deleted any other website. Therefore, I’m not even sure if Host Armada site support would go and retrieve your website while you attend other important matters. If I learn otherwise I’ll be sure to update this article.

When you first start writing you won’t be a Professional Copywriter.
Site content helps you learn your writing habits as a beginner.
Is site Content a feature that you must have as a blogger?
No, but it helps a lot when you’re new to writing articles.
Let me explain further.
Site Content can keep track of your writing stats.
Such as how many words you’ve written that day, the week, or for the month.
When you first start out writing you may think, you’ve just written an autobiography.
Just to learn that you’ve only written 500 words.
Writing articles is a craft that must be honed.
With site content, you’ll visually see what progress you’re making. You don’t have to be perfect, you just have to be willing to practice.
One feature that I really enjoy about Site Content is that it’ll send you an email notification when your article is indexed into Google.
The timeframe of getting your article indexed into Google can vary.
Some articles will index right away. Others may take months, and some may never get indexed at all.
As you can see in the image below, Google logo will show up on Site Content when that particular article has been found by Google.
Without site content, you would never know this important information unless you keep track of your articles yourself.
And we can do that by using Google Search Console and or Bing Webmaster Tools.
It’s important to understand that no other hosting company will notify you that your article has been Google indexed.
Also with Site Content, you’ll have the capability to use free images that Wealthy Affiliate has access too.
Why Should You Trust Wealthy Affiliate Hosting?
Firstly, Wealthy Affiliate hosting is legit. I’ve used their web hosting for the last 3 years.
Secondly, you can trust Wealthy Affiliate hosting because they’ve been hosting websites since 2005.
Thirdly, they actually do what they say. According to the Wealthy Affiliate website, sites hosted at Wealthy Affiliate have excellent page speed. They’re supposed to load within 1.3 seconds.
Well, I ran a test on a website that I host at Wealthy Affiliate and, the results came back that it takes 1.2 seconds for the website to load.
Full disclosure here, the bottom line is, the only time I’ve ever noticed a problem with their hosting is when my website hit 1500 daily visitors.
I can’t officially blame Wealthy Affiliate hosting for having any issues because I don’t have proof.
For one, I can only assume that the article went viral. It was a scam that many people were chasing, and unfortunately those types of articles drive a lot of traffic at times.
For two, I had a very popular theme on my website but, that theme also had complaints of being clunky and causing headaches for those that used it.
With that said, I have no proof that Wealthy Affiliate hosting is terrible.
Either way, I took steps to find the issue.
First I contacted my theme developer, they said my hosting was outdated. Then I contacted Wealthy Affiliate, and they said the complete opposite.
The difference between the two companies is, Wealthy Affiliate did their best in helping me resolve the issue.
They even went a step further and upgraded me to their new servers. On the other hand, my theme developer basically left me stranded.
Eventually, I got rid of the website theme and kept my website hosting at Wealthy Affiliate. Since then, I haven’t had any major issues like that again.

The customer support at Wealthy Affiliate for the most part is great.
In fact, I believe that is one of the best features Wealthy Affiliate has, is the community.
No other community is like it.
They make you feel welcomed and part of the WA family.
They have the largest affiliate marketing community in the world.
Their platform is like a Facebook.
If you ever have any concerns or questions, the community is always willing to help.
These members don’t sleep.

Oh gosh!
Compared to other hosting companies, Wealthy Affiliate hosting is effortless.
Not Literally!
But, it’s certainly not like using stand alone hosting.
The hosting at WA is geared towards complete beginners.
If you have no technical bones within your body?
No problem!
Wealthy Affiliate hosting has you covered.
Does that mean Wealthy Affiliate hosting is worthless?
Absolutely, not!
It just means you don’t have to deal with no headaches whatsoever.
The only thing you have to do is concentrate on building your website.
If you do not want to deal with things like cPanel then Wealthy Affiliate hosting is perfect for you.
If you have no clue how to use hosting, and would like affiliate marketing training at the same time, Wealthy Affiliate hosting is perfect for you.
Wealthy Affiliate hosting is perfect for many reasons.
I’ve seen some members not use the training but sign up just for the hosting.
I guess it really depends on what your needs are.
Again, I used and still use Wealthy Affiliate hosting.
My website has never been offline and the biggest perks is tech support fixes anything if you mess something up.
If you’re completely new to hosting WordPress websites, affiliate marketing, and writing articles I recommend using their hosting, especially in the beginning stages.
You can always change hosting companies if you feel the need too.

After considering a couple of competitors, this is what I discovered.
Wealthy Affiliate Hosting VS. Host Armada
First, Wealthy Affiliate hosting doesn’t offer it’s members access to cPanel and for good cause.
While Host Armada does.
Most members in Wealthy Affiliate are completely new to affiliate marketing and blogging.
Using cPanel requires a tad bit of technical knowledge.
cPanel allows you access to creating new email accounts and the passwords.
- You’ll also have access to installing WordPress
- Adding subdomains,
- Changing URLS,
- Uploading files to the file manager
- And you’ll be able to back up your website with cPanel.
It’s a bit more techy than it sounds.
Secondly, Wealthy Affiliate tech support will transfer most websites free of charge.
While Host Armada allows one website transfer free of charge.
Third, Wealthy Affiliate hosting is in-house and has a no refund policy.
On the other hand, Host Armada is a stand alone hosting company that offers a 45 day Full refund, if you don’t love their service.
In the end, using Wealthy Affiliate hosting can save you $187.20 in hosting fees.
That’s what it’s going to cost you a year for hosting alone, if you were to host with Host Armada Web Warp plan.
Wealthy Affiliate Hosting VS. Siteground
To begin with, Wealthy
Affiliate hosting at the premium membership level, will cost you $49.00 per month.
- That includes 10 hosted websites and affiliate marketing training .
On the other hand, after the 12-month introductory period, Siteground offers its shared hosting members a package called GoGeek.
- That package includes 10 hosted websites for $39.99 and no affiliate marketing training.
Next, Wealthy Affiliate is more than hosting, while Siteground specializes in hosting.
Lastly, Wealthy Affiliate hosting and or membership doesn’t offer a refund at all.
Instead, they have a 7-day Starter plan that requires no credit card.
Since you’re not charged the first 7 days, there’s no refund available.
However, if you were to upgrade your account to premium membership after the 7-day Starter plan, and decided you don’t like the service.
You will not get a refund.
It’s different at Siteground, if you decide you don’t want to host a website with Siteground.
They offer a full refund within 30 days of signup. This does not include the purchase of your domain.
Final Thoughts Of This Wealthy Affiliate Hosting

So, here’s a suggestion. In the beginning of your online journey I do recommend that you use Wealthy Affiliate hosting.
The reason being is because that’s one less headache you have to worry about.
The minute you feel comfortable and confident to go out there on your own.
Then that’s when you can think about seeking other hosting companies.
