Many beginners want to know if free affiliate marketing courses are legit?
In short, yes…but, not all.
So, what’s the catch?
Sometimes, free training is provided so that you’ll purchase future products.
Hey, It’s part of how affiliate marketing works.
At any rate, what you should be more concerned with is free training method may not be as helpful as you think.
Let me explain what I mean.
Depending on how fast you grasp new concepts…free training could lead you in circles because, affiliate marketing can not be explained within a 1 hour video.
Sometimes, a 4 hour video doesn’t help either.
Either way, below you will find what you came here for, at least you can decide if affiliate marketing is for you or not.
#1 - Darrel Wilson YouTube Channel
Enjoy this 2 hour and 30 minute training course because, Darrel Wilson the WordPress Guru will show you how to build an Amazon Affiliate Website for free.
By the way, if you would like to learn more about Darrel. He’s also the website owner of DarrelWilson(dot)com.
Anyhow, If you decide to build your website using his YouTube video which is absolutely free, make sure you check out his entire channel because he’s truly a WordPress Guru.
I’ve learned a lot from watching his channel.
#2 - Alex Cooper With WP Eagle YouTube Channel
Alex the owner and founder of bestroofboxes(dot)com, plus bestpressurewasher(dot)com has a very impressive training.
He’ll show you everything that you need to know on how to start an affiliate marketing website.
I think you’ll enjoy watching this 4 hour and 3 minute training, where Mr. Cooper shows you start to finish on how to get started with your very first affiliate marketing website.
#3 - Simon From Metics Media YouTube Channel
Meet Simon from learnpassiveincome(dot)com.
Although, Simon says he rather create YouTube videos than write a blog post.
He still knows how affiliate marketing works.
It appears that he uses Clickfunnels.
Instead of WordPress but, you still may learn a thing or two from him.
In this training video, he’ll even discuss free and paid traffic. Email marketing, and how to track your affiliate links.
I’ve learned how to start a YouTube channel from him. By the way, that video ranked within minutes.
So, enjoy his 2 hour and 49 minute tutorial for beginners. I’m sure you’ll learn something from him.
#4 - Simplilearn YouTube Channel
If you still don’t understand what affiliate marketing is, check out Rob Sanders 45 minute training about affiliate marketing for beginners.
In this video you will not be shown how to start an affiliate marketing website but, you’ll get a better understanding of what affiliate marketing is and how it can benefit you.
Rob is a course creator from Simplilearn which is one of the worlds #1 online training communities that also provides its members with certifications.
By the way, the online bootcamp and the certifications are not free. They come with a fee.
#5 - Miles Beckler YouTube Channel
Miles Beckler brings 14 years of knowledge to you.
Him and his wife started their business on a tight budget and made it work.
With that said, Miles the founder of MilesBeckler(dot)com will teach you for free how affiliate marketing works.
Watch this 1 hour and 13 minute video where Miles shows you how to get started with affiliate marketing.
#6 - FIMP
Ian Pribyl owner and founder of stoppingscams(dot)com since 2014.
He’s also the author of a book called “From Nothing” which you can find on Amazon.
Ian offers both free and premium courses. His course is not on YouTube, you’ll find about 50 in depth lessons on his own website.
No strings attached…
By the way, Ian’s premium courses are not required.
So, please do not feel obligated to purchase them..
His free course material that’s offered may be enough to get you from nothing to something.
It should at least help you understand how affiliate marketing works.

Although, you’ll learn a lot from many different marketers.
Wealthy Affiliate is where I learned how to start my affiliate website and make my first dollar online.
It’s also the place that I recommend for a complete newbie.
As a complete beginner, this course will teach you how to start your website literally step-by-step from scratch and you do not have to have prior experience.
In addition to that, all the tools that you need are provided.
With this all in one solution, Wealthy Affiliate offers a 7 day starter plan, with no credit card needed.
During that 7-day starter plan, you will get access to everything you need to start a website. This includes the WordPress Website, Hosting, Keyword Tool, and Community Support.
# 8 - Ahrefs Academy Blogging Course
If I used my calculator right Ahrefs gives you approximately 3 hours and 16 minutes of blogging training. With this course, it doesn’t show you exactly how affiliate marketing works but, it does show you how blogging works.
If you don’t plan on creating YouTube videos right now or ever, blogging is another way to promote your affiliate links.
So, this course will be helpful to learn how you will use a blog when you start affiliate marketing.
By the way, Ahrefs is supposed to be one the most up to date keyword research tools. It’s also one of the most expensive.
Either way, it doesn’t hurt or charge you a dime to watch their free training course.
#9 - SurfSide PPC YouTube Channel
The owner of Surfside PPC YouTube channel, will teach you how to build an Amazon website.
He’ll teach you how to get accepted into Amazon affiliate program, choose a theme, and how to apply for other affiliate programs.
Enjoy his 2 hour 30 minutes free Amazon Associate affiliate marketing training.
Note: He recommends a dedicated hosting with BlueHost that will cost you $79.99 per month.
If you need a more budget friendly host check out my host armada review, it’s one of the host I use and I have never had any problems.
I use the Speed Reaper plan, which is still half the price that he is recommending.
